Read The Summoning for Free Online

Looking for free books to read or a new series of the YA variety? In anticipation of the third book of Kelley Armstrong’s Darkest Powers Trilogy’s release, publisher Harper Collins has made available the full text of the first book, The Summoning, on their Web site. Like any good, free thing, it is a limited time offer, and likely ends with the release of the final book.

Harper Collins is no longer offering the full text of the book. You’ll now have to find it in stores. On the bright side, the full trilogy will be available within a month.

While rather different from her adult series, the Darkest Powers Trilogy thus far has been a good read. If you’re looking to start a new series, this is a great chance. Book 3, The Reckoning comes out April 6, 2010. The Awakening (Book 2) is out in hardback, with a March 23, 2010 paperback release date.
